Lavine 2021

It was our escape to back to normal and it felt good.

In a year when everything is unsure and you can’t really plan anything, we were lucky as we really didn’t have problems with the amount of snow.

As Pega is really young I had a mission this winter to work in the snow with her as much as possible, so she gets the experience of searching for the individual smell of the victim. In the snow, you can really train micro-location, especially this year when snow was more than perfect for teaching young puppies. And I also managed to switch from rewarding with food to rewarding with toys, as she is a killer for playing with these fluffy toys.

All in all, we had 4 amazing days of digging, shoveling, playing with dogs, having fun with friends, and most of all enjoying moments up there in the mountains.
